(Okay, this post is going to be short...)
A man once told me that he never drives anywhere without a CD playing. Now this isn't a music CD of the newest hip hop (fyi, I love hip hop...well, anything with a good beat), it's a personal development CD.
What's personal development? Anything that makes you think better, act better, talk better, etc. And this also doesn't have to be a CD. With technology, you can listen to it by phone, on your computer, and even going to seminars/meetings/trainings. (Actually, I'm listening to Diane Hochman and getting really motivated. And just to pay it forward, I recommend Gary Vaynerchuk's "Crush It".)
So basically from this post, I just wanted to plant a seed inside you. If you want to become a better person, start getting motivated. This can translate into a better quality of life physically, and even financially.
And last idea I want you to think about about leaving this site:
"You are the average of the 5 people around you. The way you think, the way you talk, and even how much money you make." -Darren Hardy

Why is it so hard to get out of bed?
Every morning, my cell phone reminds me that it's 6:30am.
Personally I think I need to have a machine that gets me out of bed, gives me a shower, brushes my teeth, dresses me and then feeds me my morning shake. If you can't see this, imagine the Jetson's.
Well, for one reason...my bed is so da bomb (sorry for saying that, but it just is). Maybe it's because I've never owned a full king size bed, I mean a California King Size Bed, and it totally rocks. So much space for me, Ana, AND Juniper.
Or maybe the real reason is that I'm just lazy getting out. This could be at least 51% true (gotta set an example for those that are reading this blog. BTW, it's my first one.)
So my insight for today is that sometimes we need to change the things that are stopping us from getting where we want to be. Whether it's getting out of bed, time on the internet (ie. spending less time looking at pictures on Facebook), maybe filling the gas tank before heading into work, or whatever it may be...these things are changeable. You have to want it as much to achieve what you want in the end.
Okay, I'm still in bed, but I had to start this blog because I'm actually trying to set another example to my friend on the east coast, that "you don't have to get it done perfectly, you just have to get going".
;)
